Danaraj Nadarajah

Dr.N Danaraj is a Non-Independent Executive Director/ Corporate Advisor of Hartalega Corporation of Malaysia. He is responsible for Hartalega’s own brand business in China and India. He is also a joint venture partner with Hartalega in these two markets.He has also been an entrepreneur for over 15 years in China and Malaysia as a manufacturer of toys. Prior to joining Hartalega he had short assignments as a Senior Fellow at Khazanah Nasional, and as a Technical Advisor to the National Economic Advisory Council and the Innovation Unit in the Prime Minister’s Office.He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Oxford University, a Masters in Public Policy/ Economics from Harvard University, a Post-Graduate Management Diploma from INTAN, and a Masters and Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Malaya. Dr N Danaraj began his career with the Government in the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service, including postings in the Ministries of Finance and Human Resources. He has worked in the United Nations University, Tokyo, as well as a Visiting Scholar at Hitoshibashi University, Tokyo, Head of Business Research at the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research and Professor of Business Strategy at University of Monaco.
